In my island house there are…

ancient songs,

dreams of adventure and the sky,

mysterious clans

In my garden house there are…

smells of moss and soil,

grandmother’s rusty gardening shears

In my river house there is…

children’s laughter,

the rocking of the waves,

the freedom found in gusty winds

In my house, there is room for all of this

And for you.

HOME SWEET HOME is an exhibition that appeals to the heart and senses of young children. It began as distinct units presented at three Québec City public libraries before coming together at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec. Inside each of the tiny houses is a piece from the Musée’s Art Loan Collection displayed in an immersive environment.
